9BILD Berlin Wall Segment

2026This segment of the Berlin Wall has stood here only since June 2026, just a few centimeters from the former course of the Wall, marked by cobblestones. It comes from a collection of 30 Wall segments acquired by BILD in 2008. Some of them were given to the minister-presidents of Germany’s federal states. Today, these Wall segments stand in the respective state capitals as reminders of the era of division.
